Mapping
- Recorded conveyance documents that concern real estate property ownership, are read and
an interpretation of the description is mapped onto the tax assessment
maps. Parcel splits and transfers of land and improvements from one owner to another are noted in
the parcel inventory and ownership records are updated. The computerized drawing files are constantly
updated to reflect the current parcel inventory. All these updates become part of the tax roll so
tax statements can be sent to the appropriate destination at the end of each year.
- Tax Maps:
36" x 36" aerial photographic enlargements, with parcels, providing complete
county coverage (photography as recent as 2004). Tax map prints are available
for $8 per sheet. Blue-lines are $5 (if available). Computerized mapping is
not available online, however maps.google.com may be useful.
24" x 24" jpg tax assessment maps are available for downloading, printing,
and viewing and include 2004 aerial photography. (This link is for a web page
that is still under construction, however it is usable in the current format.)
