Presidential Preference Primary Election

Results of March 15th Election by Precinct

The deadline to register to vote is Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 at 5 p.m. You will be required to
provide an accepted form of identification at the time of registration. Absentee ballots will be
available in the County Clerk’s office beginning Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016.
The deadline to vote absentee in the County Clerk’s office is Monday, March 14th, at 5 p.m. In
accordance with election law, no ballots may be mailed after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9th, 2016.
Please specify the party ballot you wish to receive. For this election the choices are Democratic Party, Republican Party, Libertarian Party, and Constitution Party.
Ballots must be done in BLACK INK ONLY.

DO NOT COMBINE ABSENTEE BALLOTS FOR DIFFERENT ELECTIONS IN THE SAME ENVELOPE,
ONE ballot per return envelope.

General Municipal Election

The deadline to register to vote is Wednesday, March 9th, 2016 at 5 p.m. You will be required to provide
an accepted form of identification at the time of registration. Absentee ballots will be available in
the County Clerk’s office beginning Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016. The deadline to vote absentee in the
County Clerk’s office is Monday, April 4th, at 5 p.m. In accordance with election law, no ballots may be
mailed after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016. Ballots must be done in BLACK INK ONLY.

General Municipal Absentee Application

The County Clerk’s office will be open Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 from 8am to Noon for absentee balloting.

The precincts and splits are labeled at the top of each ballot, so you will be able to determine which ballot you will be voting from.
If you do not know what precinct and split you are in, your Voter Registration Card will have that information on it.
If you do not have a Voter Registration Card, you can call the County Clerk’s Office to inquire about one.

County Clerk’s office beginning Tuesday, June 21st, 2016. The deadline to vote absentee in the
County Clerk’s office is Monday, August 1st, at 5 p.m. In accordance with election law, no ballots
may be mailed after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016. Please specify the party ballot
you wish to receive. Ballots must be done in BLACK INK ONLY.

General Election

The deadline to register to vote is Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 at 5 p.m. You will be required to
provide an accepted form of identification at the time of registration. Absentee ballots will be available
in the County Clerk’s office beginning Tuesday, September 27th, 2016. The deadline to vote absentee
in the County Clerk’s office is Monday, November 7th, at 5 p.m. In accordance with election law,
no ballots may be mailed after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016.
Ballots must be done in BLACK INK ONLY.

some polling places have changed.

ATTENTION PHELPS COUNTY VOTERS. Due to the passage of Senate Bill 675 which became effective
on August 28, 2002, all voters will be required to show approved identification before being
allowed to vote in all future elections, beginning on November 5, 2002. If you have lost
